The facility supports a coordinated care model that includes mental and behavioral health staff, with a PMHNP and therapists available on-site alongside the primary care clinician. Clinical workflows are structured to support integrated care delivery, and the facility utilizes Opimantra as its EMR system, which is designed for integrated healthcare settings.

Institutions in the area include The Mariners' Museum and Park, the Virginia Living Museum, and the Virginia War Museum. Local neighborhoods, parks, and cultural venues host community events and outdoor activities throughout the year, providing clinicians with varied options during time away from the assignment.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages on a day shift basis, working 10-hour shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays at one location and Tuesdays and Thursdays at a secondary location. The initial assignment is full-time for approximately one month, after which coverage transitions to 20 hours per week following the arrival of a permanent clinician at the secondary site. The expected caseload is 15-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary care conditions across all age groups. Required credentials include a state DNP license, DEA registration, board certification, and prescriptive authority; no call coverage is required for this assignment.
