Role Responsibilities
Deliver holistic, ongoing care for individuals and families, spanning from pediatric to geriatric populations.
Address chronic illnesses, preventive care, acute health issues, and mental health with a prioritized patient focus.
Perform thorough physical assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and generate tailored treatment strategies.
Work collaboratively with care coordinators and specialists to integrate comprehensive care approaches.
Engage in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring operational excellence.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate, timely patient documentation.
Offer care through both in-person visits and virtual appointments to cater to patient preferences.
Education Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine from an accredited program.
Certifications
Board Certification in Family Medicine.
Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
Skills and Experience
Proficient diagnostic and clinical skills with a focus on preventive care.
