Family Medicine Physician - Emergency Medicine | 1099 | Block Scheduling | South Texas

StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a physician-owned and physician-led Emergency Medicine organization to recruit experienced Family Medicine physicians with Emergency Department experience for two established community EDs in South Texas . Choose between Del Rio or a location southeast of San Antonio , with both opportunities offering a 1099 independent contractor structure, flexible block scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and clinical autonomy .

Practice Highlights / Qualifications

Board Certified in Family Medicine with Emergency Department experience

Two established Level IV Trauma Center Emergency Departments

Del Rio: Approximately 25,500 annual ED visits with a 12-bed ED plus 4-bed Express Care

Southeast of San Antonio: Approximately 14,500 annual ED visits with a 10-bed ED and lower-volume practice environment

Strong specialty backup and established transfer resources

APP support available in Del Rio

Meditech EMR

Well suited for physicians comfortable practicing independently in a community ED setting
