Job description
Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) with Family Medicine Physicians. The FM Physician is expected to do the following:
Interview and examine patients, review past medical history, and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make a diagnosis for primary care services. Family Medicine Physicians make diagnoses after evaluating the information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate.
Provide primary care services supporting a continuum of care from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, to appropriate referral and follow-up. Be responsible for caring for patients with simple to moderately complex conditions that can be appropriately managed in a primary care outpatient environment
Provide healthcare services for the entire period of performance at the CRDAMC. The physician shall schedule and perform procedures as appropriate.
Counsel and educate Veteran-patients, families, and CRDAMC medical staff about general healthcare topics and concerns.
Contract Family Practice Physicians shall prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide care.
Requirements Current licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia (D.C.)
Board Certified or Board Eligible. Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABMI), or the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
Must have graduated from an approved school and completed residency or fellowship acceptable to the Surgeon General.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
(DEA) Certification
National Practitioner Identifier (NPI)
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Salary Description
$240,000 - $350,000
