Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
4-Day Work Week (Days Only)| No Weekends
Location: Anchorage, AK
North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our inpatient behavioral health team.

Position Highlights
Conduct admission H&Ps, follow-up assessments, and medical consults for behavioral health patients.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing staff.
Manage medical needs of inpatient behavioral health patients.
Provide patient and family education.
Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.

Requirements
Licensure: Alaska Physician Medical license (MD/DO), or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
Education: Completion of an accredited medical school with Family Medicine residency training.
Certification: Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Family Medicine (MD/DO).
Experience: New graduates with relevant clinical training and strong interest in behavioral health will be considered.
