Sun River Health • Primary Care Physician (FM)
Sun River Health provides comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all who seek it, especially for the underserved and vulnerable, in New York City and surrounding counties. We are a Federally Qualified, Non‑Profit Health Center.

Compensation
Salary range: $237,182.40 – $269,755.20 per year
Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 for eligible external applicants (terms and conditions apply).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in planning and developing health care services, treatment of conditions and illnesses within scope.
Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.
Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians.
Complete and participate in chart review process.
Referral and follow‑up of patients when needed.
Collaborate with other members of the Health Center to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
Clinical supervision: Oversee the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Mentorship and guidance to students or new providers.
Facilitate educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience.
Assess performance and provide constructive feedback and documentation.
Ensure high‑quality patient care while supervising and mentoring.
Coordinate educational activities with academic institutions and other health professionals.
Requirements
Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
Active, valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
Experience in HIV care and MAT (Medication‑Assisted Treatment) (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse patient population in a community health setting.
