Job description
Family Medicine Physician
Location: Metairie, Louisiana.
Job Duties
Diagnose and provide nonsurgical treatment of diseases and injuries for children and adults. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patient families concerning treatment and care. Refer cases that require specialist services while maintaining responsibility and ensuring continuity of care.
Education Required
M.D. or D.O.
Other Requirements
License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
Completion of a family medicine residency.
