Job description
Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Family Medicine and Urgent Care locum assignment in Naturita, Colorado. This role supports a non‑profit Rural Health Clinic serving patients of all ages.

Work Environment & Schedule
Coverage Dates: September 8 – November 11, 2026.
Monday–Friday schedule.
4 ten‑hour shifts per week.
Sole medical provider.
Rural Health Clinic setting.
EMR: Athena.
Clinical Scope
Chronic condition management.
Annual physicals and preventive care.
Acute illness treatment.
Urgent care services.
Stabilization and transfer of emergent patients.
Patients of all ages.
Additional Requirements
Active, unrestricted Colorado license.
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
DEA.
BLS.
ACLS.
PALS.
CV in MM/YYYY format with all work and education gaps explained.
