The facilities feature a supportive clinical environment with onsite X-ray and EKG capabilities, and a collaborative team including medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians.
Opportunity:
Physician - Family Medicine - Urgent Care
Job Details:
Provide urgent care services across multiple locations throughout the St. Louis metro area
36-48 patient encounters per shift
Must be residency trained and board certified (or board eligible if within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds through ABMS or American Osteopathic Board - no other boards accepted
Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and older)
Must provide proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months correlating to privileges requested
Current BLS certification required - must be obtained directly through the American Heart Association
Must be comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting
Must be comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays; onsite X-ray and EKG available
Must be very comfortable working with EMR systems; Epic experience is a plus
Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)
Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts; preference given to providers who can work blocks of shifts including both weekdays and weekends
Centers are open Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; transitioning to 12-hour shifts on weekends
No overtime available
Must hold an active Missouri license or IMLC
Interview with the medical director is required prior to confirmation
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 120 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
