Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Asheville, NC
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Asheville, NC seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP or Physician Assistant / PA to join a close‑knit primary care team. The center, founded in 1993, began with a HIV program and now serves the broader community with primary, chronic disease, and urgent care services.

Annual salary range: $102,000 – $125,000

40 hours of CME paid time off, 11 holidays, and 2 floating holidays
Role Description
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Appointee will see 18–20 patients per day in a primary care setting.
Work focuses on chronic disease management, acute care, urgent care, and simple procedures such as I&D and laceration repairs.
One quarterly call to coordinate care and review patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care with specialists.
Perform urgent care procedures and triage acute medical needs.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient‑centered care programs.
Qualifications
1+ year of primary care experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP or Physician Assistant / PA.
Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current state license in North Carolina.
DEA certification.
