Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating customized care strategies
Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (as credentialing permits)
Providing education to patients and families about health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic illness management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic healthcare
Meticulously documenting patient interactions and clinical findings in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
