Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) | School-Based Care
Full Time | Outpatient | Monday-Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW
This provider will practice independently with support from a Medical Director while delivering high-quality acute outpatient care within a school-based setting. The position focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common illnesses and injuries while performing minor office procedures, including suturing. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who enjoys autonomy, community medicine, and caring for pediatric and adolescent populations. :contentReference(oaicite:1)index=1
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Provide direct outpatient care to students and school personnel
Perform minor office procedures including suturing
Practice independently with Medical Director support
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Coordinate care with school staff and healthcare providers
Deliver compassionate evidence-based patient care
COMPENSATION
$54-$68 per hour based on experience
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday
7:30 AM-4:00 PM
No evenings
No weekends
No call responsibilities

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED
Active Virginia Family Nurse Practitioner License REQUIRED
Active DEA Registration REQUIRED
Ability to Practice Independently REQUIRED
Experience Caring for Pediatric & Adolescent Patients REQUIRED
Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing REQUIRED
Strong Clinical Assessment Skills REQUIRED
Excellent Communication Skills REQUIRED
Community-Based Care Experience Preferred
