# Family Office DirectorSingle Family OfficeDirectorPrivate Equityfull-timeLocationRye, United StatesDate PostedJune 15, 2026Stay ahead of the marketGet instant notifications when new job openings matching "Private Equity / Director jobs in Rye, United States" are published.## About This RoleA newly formed, first-generation single family office based in Rye, New York is seeking a Family Office Director to serve as the foundational hire, working closely with the family to design, build, and operate a thoughtful, well-governed family office aligned with the family long-term objectives.The Director will act as a central integrator across the family financial, legal, and operational ecosystem, with emphasis on financial oversight, reporting integrity, and coordination across external providers. The role reports directly to the Board of Directors, including the family patriarch and matriarch, and requires high judgment, discretion, and ownership.Key Responsibilities:Family Office Development and Leadership:- Lead the design and build-out of the family office including structure, workflows, and operating model- Establish processes, controls, and documentation to support a well-governed and scalable infrastructure- Implement appropriate internal controls across financial and operational activities- Serve as a trusted partner to the family, proactively identifying solutions to personal and business-related challengesAdvisor Coordination and Oversight:- Serve as central integrator across the family advisory ecosystem including tax advisors, estate attorneys, private banking partners, accounting providers, and investment managers- Ensure financial, tax, and investment reporting across providers is aligned and clearly understood- Identify gaps, overlaps, or inefficiencies across advisors and recommend improvementsThis is a unique opportunity to establish and shape a newly formed family office from the ground up, serving as the primary strategic and operational partner to a high-net-worth family.Apply for this Position
