Geriatric Medicine Opportunity Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota An academic-affiliated healthcare program in Grand Forks, North Dakota is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Geriatrician to help lead an innovative, community-focused Geriatrics program serving rural and tribal populations across the region. This role offers a unique blend of clinical practice, academic leadership, education, and community engagement, with a strong emphasis on health equity and workforce development.Position Highlights•Competitive annual salary of $250,000+•50% clinical practice providing comprehensive geriatric care•50% academic appointment focused on education, research, and community outreach•Leadership involvement in a $5 million federally funded Geriatrics and Health Equity Training Grant•Development of innovative Geriatrics curricula, including interprofessional and community-based learning•Collaboration with rural and tribal healthcare sites to enhance care for older adults•Opportunities to mentor students, residents, and fellows and participate in scholarly activitiesPractice & Academic Environment•Integrated healthcare and academic setting with a strong commitment to rural health, public health, and aging populations•Supportive, physician-led environment with access to multidisciplinary resources•Emphasis on community impact, workforce training, and sustainable geriatric care modelsCommunity - Grand Forks, NDGrand Forks is a family-friendly, mid-sized community of approximately 60,000 residents, known for its tree-lined streets, outdoor recreation, and high quality of life.
