About the
Role
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in delivering primary care services, examining patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outc
omes.
Responsibi
lities
Assess and examine patients to determine health status and diagnose con
ditionsDocument patient care and communicate effectively in
the EMROrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and scr
eeningsDevelop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and th
erapiesPerform procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wou
nd careEducate patients on diagnoses, treatments, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle
choicesMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as
neededRefer patients to specialists or community resources when appr
opriateCollaborate with supervising physicians per standardized pro
ceduresMaintain compliance with scope of practice, HIPAA, and regulatory requi
rementsParticipate in quality improvement, peer review, and organizational init
iativesSupervise and support clinical staff, students, and interns as
neededMaintain licensure, continuing education, and professional com
