Job description
A thriving community health organization is seeking a Clinical Informatics Lead to join its growing team in Central Massachusetts. This unique hybrid opportunity combines primary care with clinical informatics leadership , offering an ideal role for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner who enjoys patient care, technology, workflow improvement and provider education.
Position Highlights:
Hybrid role: 40% direct primary care + 50% clinical informatics + 10% clinical administration
Serve as a PCP caring for patients across the full age spectrum, from pediatrics through geriatrics
Provide preventive, acute and chronic care, including uncomplicated prenatal/postnatal services
Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical care team
Serve as the clinical EMR liaison between IT and medical providers
Lead provider onboarding and initial EMR training
Train providers on new EMR features, workflows and upgrades
Provide one-on-one retraining and ongoing EMR competency development
Help design, improve and re-engineer clinical workflows
Participate in EMR upgrades and organizational implementation projects
Help lead the organization's transition to Epic , including training providers on the new system
Create training materials for current and future clinical team members
Opportunity to combine clinical practice with meaningful technology and physician/provider leadership
Qualifications:
Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
Massachusetts medical license
Certified and willing to clinically treat all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
Minimum 2 years of primary care or related clinical experience
Minimum 2 years of experience using an EMR , such as Epic, MediTech, eClinicalWorks or NextGen
Strong communication, teaching and organizational skills
Interest in clinical informatics, workflow optimization and provider education
Compensation & Benefits:
$115K $135K salary
