Job description

Family Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Location: Brooklyn, NY

Compensation: $110,000 $130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Loan Repayment Eligible NHSC / HRSA

She Recruits is partnering with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Brooklyn, NY seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their mission-driven primary care team.

This organization is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to underserved, low-income, and uninsured populations regardless of ability to pay. Operating under HRSA oversight with a sliding fee scale model and community-based board governance, this FQHC focuses on improving health equity and long-term community outcomes.

Because of its federally supported mission, base compensation is slightly below large hospital systems in the New York market. However, this is offset by robust federal loan repayment eligibility and meaningful, sustainable work.

This opportunity is ideal for a provider who values purpose-driven practice over high-volume corporate medicine.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with FQHC standards

Qualifications Active and unrestricted New York Nurse Practitioner license

DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)

Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred

Experience serving underserved populations strongly valued

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team model

Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) a plus

Ideal Candidate Profile Mission-driven and committed to health equity

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits

Paid time off and holidays

Eligibility for federal loan repayment programs

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner seeking meaningful work within a supportive FQHC environment especially for those looking to leverage loan repayment programs while building a long-term career in community health.
