Location: Heathsville, VA
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine

Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team. We serve a diverse community of patients from newborns through adulthood providing comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and long-term relationships.
Position Highlights
Patient Population: Newborns to 21+
Average Patients/Day:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Shared among 10+ providers (weekday 5p 7a; weekend Friday 5p Sunday 6p)
Call limited to urgent adult issues only
No medication refills or controlled substances management
Average 1 10 calls per shift
Virtual Health: Optional MyChart virtual visits for routine, follow-up, and acute care
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide full-spectrum primary care, including routine, acute, and wellness visits
Manage chronic diseases and coordinate care with specialists
Perform in-office procedures such as:
Cryotherapy, incision & drainage, wound suturing, and management
Optional: Pap smears/pelvic exams, punch biopsies, intra-articular injections
Supported by a dedicated team of CMA/LPNs (1:2 support ratio)
Qualifications
Education: Master s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP)
Licensure: NP license in Virginia (or eligibility)
Certification: Current BLS required
Experience: New graduates welcome; experienced providers preferred
