Primary Care NP Wyoming
Schedule
Schedule: Part time. 2 days per week on Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Daily volume: 1 to 8 claimants per day
Openings: 1
Position Overview
Provide one time compensation and pension disability examinations for a veteran population. This is an exam only role with no ongoing treatment and no prescribing.
Responsibilities
Review medical history and complete appropriate disability benefits questionnaires and medical opinionsConduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and document findings in the required systemComfortable performing sensitive exams for male and female veterans, including PAPs and pelvic examsComplete and submit documentation within 24 to 48 hours after the examRequired Qualifications
Nurse PractitionerCurrent, unrestricted licenseNPI requiredStrong computer skills and ability to complete web based exam formsLocal or commutable candidate preferredCandidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.Benefits
