Job Details Position: Physician Assistant - Locum Tenens Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 Specialty: Liver and Pancreas Surgery, Oncology, Surgical Oncology Start Date: August 10, 2026 End Date: November 30, 2026 Duration: 16 weeks Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,670 - $3,930 Setting: Combination of inpatient and outpatient care Patient Volume: Hospital patients based on census; office visits approximately 15-25 patients per clinic session Job Requirements Active Physician Assistant certification and eligibility to practice in the state of Georgia At least 1 year of clinical experience required Experience in oncology and/or surgical oncology strongly preferred Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills Comfortable managing a varied patient census in a busy specialty practice Responsibilities Provide high-quality support to a liver and pancreas surgical specialty team Evaluate and manage patients in both hospital and clinic environments Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care Perform routine clinical assessments and follow-up visits Support treatment planning and care coordination for specialty patients Deliver efficient, compassionate care while maintaining excellent documentation and communication Apply now for this Physician Assistant locum tenens opportunity in Atlanta, GA and join a respected specialty healthcare team today.
