Job Details Specialty: Neonatology Role: Physician Assistant (PA) Setting: Level III NICU Employment Type: Locum tenens Schedule: Rotating day and night coverage, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 12 months Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,090 - $4,380 Location: Columbus, OH 43214 Job Requirements 1+ year of experience in neonatology required Active Physician Assistant certification or eligibility for licensure Experience working in a NICU or neonatal intensive care setting Ability to perform key neonatal procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment Comfort working rotating day and night shifts DEA registration preferred/required as applicable Responsibilities Provide clinical support for newborns in a Level III NICU Perform neonatal procedures including intubation , umbilical line placement , and thoracentesis Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and the broader neonatal care team Evaluate and manage a daily patient load in a fast-paced hospital setting Deliver safe, high-quality care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment Support continuity of care across rotating shifts Apply now to join a rewarding Columbus healthcare opportunity and make an impact in neonatal care today.
