No call requirement
Provide medical care within an inpatient Behavioral Health unit
Broad patient population from age 10 through geriatrics
Cerner EMR
Assignment Details Start Date: October 1, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Commitment: Full-time, long-term coverage
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Patient Population: Ages 10 through elderly
Unit Census: Approximately 52 patients
Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
Admissions: Required
Call: None
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
Travel: Local drive-in candidate required; travel and lodging are not provided
Requirements Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Active Massachusetts NP license
At least two years of FNP experience
Eligible to practice independently in Massachusetts
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Comfortable treating patients ages 10 through geriatrics
Inpatient or Behavioral Health experience preferred
Full-time, long-term commitment
Local candidate strongly preferred
Prior credentialing at Leonard Morse Campus preferred
Clinical Details Provide medical care to patients admitted to the inpatient psychiatric unit
Complete medical evaluations and ongoing management
Round on assigned and unassigned patients
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide age-appropriate care from adolescence through geriatrics
Complete admissions and coordinate care with the Behavioral Health team
No call, APP supervision, resident supervision, or teaching responsibilities
