Job description
ATC West Healthcare is seeking one locum Primary Care provider (NP, PA, or MD/DO) to provide temporary coverage while the organization recruits a permanent clinician. The provider will care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a well-established outpatient practice, working with a collaborative team and utilizing Epic EMR. No call, ED coverage, or supervisory responsibilities are required.
Dates / Schedule Start Date: Tentatively August 3, 2026
Assignment Length: Minimum of 12 weeks
Schedule: Full-time, Monday Thursday
Patient Volume: patients per day
Credentialing: Temporary privileges available; approximately 10 business days
Job Details / Responsibilities Provide outpatient primary care services for adult and geriatric patients.
Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
Perform pelvic exams and Pap smears.
Conduct disability examinations.
Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Work alongside 5 primary care physicians and 4 advanced practice providers .
No supervision of other healthcare providers.
No emergency department backup or call responsibilities.
Practice includes 2 3 exam rooms.
Required Skills & Qualifications NP, PA, or MD/DO eligible for the position.
Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain board certification within 3 years of training completion).
Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience .
Active Michigan license.
Active DEA registration.
Current BLS certification.
Available to work full-time, Monday through Thursday.
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
Must be a local Michigan drive-in provider .
