APP Family Medicine opening in TexasSan Antonio, TXFull timePosition Highlights Join a collaborative, team-based practice providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Opportunity to independently assess patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing follow-up care. Perform minor office procedures and coordinate care with specialists and community resources as needed. Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, medications, and treatment plans to promote long-term health. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, clinical education, and evidence-based practice development. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Current Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure with prescriptive authority. Current CPR certification. Previous clinical and Nurse Practitioner experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
