Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity - Coastal Virginia Seeking high-quality Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join the dynamic Primary Care Team at Bayview Physicians Group Äî one of Virginia's largest independent, multi-specialty medical groups in Hampton Roads. Opportunities available across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk, offering flexibility to choose a practice setting that aligns with your lifestyle and career goals.Position Details Comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations in an outpatient setting
Diagnosis and management of common acute illnesses and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
Development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
Ordering, interpreting, and following up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
Prescribing medications and treatments consistent with current clinical guidelines
Age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients (pediatrics a plus)
Transitions of care including hospital follow-up and post-discharge management
Internal referrals to specialists within the Bayview group
Approximately 18 Äì20 patients per day
Collaborative practice with physicians and APPs within the practice
Qualifications Current licensure and prescriptive authority in Virginia (NP or PA)
National board certification (NP or PA)
Experience in primary care preferred
Strong clinical judgment and collaborative interpersonal skills
