An established onsite healthcare clinic in Thief River Falls, Minnesota is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time contract opportunity. This position combines primary care and occupational health services in a supportive outpatient setting serving employees of a large distribution center.

Practice Setting Providers will work in an employer-sponsored health clinic providing primary care services and minor workers' compensation treatment for adult employees. The clinic focuses on accessible, patient-centered care while supporting employee health, wellness, and workplace productivity.
The practice environment offers strong clinical support and a manageable patient volume, allowing providers to build meaningful relationships with patients and deliver comprehensive care.
Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Manage chronic medical conditions
Conduct routine health assessments and physical examinations
Provide preventive care and wellness counseling
Manage minor occupational health and workers' compensation cases
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols
Coordinate care with specialists when appropriate
Document patient encounters within EPIC EMR
Schedule 40 Hours Per Week
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
Additional Details No weekends
Flexible scheduling may be considered
Start date: October 2026
Assignment through January 3, 2027
Extension opportunities available
Patient Volume & Support Approximately 2 patients per hour
Adult employee population only

Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA Certification
Active Minnesota Physician Assistant License
Active DEA Registration
Hands-on BLS Certification
Minimum one year of experience in:Primary Care
Family Medicine
Occupational Health
Ability to provide comprehensive outpatient care for adults
Preferred EPIC EMR experience
Occupational Health experience
Workers' Compensation experience
Employee Health clinic experience
