Opportunity We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a family medicine locum tenens opportunity in Woodlake, CA. Provide outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan in a collaborative community health setting. Applicants must have at least one year of experience as an NP or PA.
Schedule and assignment Clinic schedule, patient volume, and assignment duration to be confirmed for the selected opening.
Responsibilities Perform preventive visits, health screenings, and evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic testing, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals and follow-up care within the provider s scope of practice.
Collaborate with the clinical team to support coordinated, patient-centered care and patient and family education.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records.
Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of NP or PA experience; new graduates are not eligible.
Active California NP or PA licensure and credentials appropriate to the role and patient population; prescribing credentials as applicable.
Ability to provide family medicine care within training, certification, and scope of practice.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; commitment to caring for diverse and underserved communities.
