Government Airport Health Screening Physician Atlanta, GA
Medix Healthcare Staffing is seeking a physician (MD/DO) to support a federal public health initiative at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
Required Schedule (1 Physician Needed):
Tuesday Saturday 6:00am 2:30pm
Assignment Details:
Contract: October 12, 2026 February 5, 2027
Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Atlanta, Georgia
Local candidates from the Greater Atlanta area strongly preferred
What You Will Be Doing:
Evaluate travelers referred after initial nursing screening
Conduct focused public health assessments using established federal protocols
Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staff
Collaborate with federal agencies and airport personnel
Document assessments and public health interventions
Requirements:
MD or DO
Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
Board Certified preferred
Clean malpractice history
U.S. Citizen required for federal airport security clearance
Ability to pass an extensive federal background investigation
Ability to obtain airport security badging

PPE training and N95 fit testing
