Job description
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a permanent Associate Program Director opportunity with a community-based hospital and academic training program in North Carolina. This leadership role offers a blend of residency program administration, resident teaching, and clinical practice within a rural and underserved patient population.
Position Details

Board Certification: Required (ABFM or AOBFP)
Degree Required: MD or DO
Experience Required: Residency faculty experience preferred; inpatient/outpatient experience required; OB experience preferred
Schedule
Approximately 80% administrative, teaching, and precepting
Approximately 20% clinical responsibilities
Estimated schedule:
4 days/week administrative + academic duties
1 day/week outpatient clinical care
Practice Environment
Team-based academic and clinical setting
Responsibilities include:
Resident supervision and education
Curriculum development
Program leadership support
Outpatient and possible inpatient clinical oversight
Broad specialty support available across hospital system
