Job description
The University of Missouri Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks a dynamic Family Medicine Physician to join our academic faculty. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to the education of medical students and resident physicians in a collaborative, academically rich environment. Our mission is to advance health and primary care through leadership in patient care, education, scholarship and service, with a commitment to rural and underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary team, including family medicine with optional obstetrics and prenatal, labor, and delivery services, as well as palliative care, geriatrics, and sports medicine.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
Teach, mentor, and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participate in clinical research and scholarly activity.
Contribute to the development of innovative practices to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Foster positive, professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
