Primary Care Opening in WALocated in Coupeville, WA; Seattle 55mBE/BCFull-time; Permanent position4 days per weekA minimum of three years as a physician, practicing in a primary care specialtyMinimum of one to three years' experience in supervision of mid-level practitioners and/or rural health clinic setting preferred Responsibilities include direct patient care, oversight/supervision of mid-level practitioners, liaison activities with local medical staff members and participation in policy development and long-term planning for clinic operationsOverviewProvides direct services to patients on ongoing basis at clinic sites, via current caseload as well as consultation with mid-level staffProvides for the clinical supervision of mid-level staff, and remains available as a resource for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care servicesPeriodically reviews medical records as part of patient care evaluation processProvides leadership and direction to mid-level practitioner staff in accordance with practice act guidelines, as well as department & system goals and objectivesWorks closely with the Clinic ManagerMust possess working knowledge of factors impacting clinic practice and rural health clinic status, including standards of care, reimbursement issues, industry trends, and networkingSalary range: $250,000 - $275,000 & Eligible for a one-time incentive of up to $20,000About the areaCoupeville is a small town located on Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington, serving as the county seatThe town is notable for its well-preserved historic district, which forms the core of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, the first national historical reserve in the United StatesThe town is known as a tourist destination and as the seat of Island County, which covers Whidbey and Camano islands Estimated pay range/amount is $250,000 - $275,000.
