Medical Associates of Louisa is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient primary care practice in beautiful Louisa, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values relationship-based medicine, team collaboration, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in the community.

The practice offers preventive care, chronic disease management, same-day appointments, medication management, women's health services, newborn and pediatric care, immunizations, laboratory services, EKGs, nutrition counseling, and healthy lifestyle coaching. Patients also benefit from seamless access to specialists and advanced services throughout UVA Health when higher levels of care are needed.
Opportunity Highlights 100% outpatient primary care
Monday-Friday schedule, with 4 day work week.
Established patient panel with strong community demand
Dedicated clinical support staff
Collaborate with an expanding multidisciplinary care team, including care coordinators, behavioral health, and ambulatory clinical pharmacy
Opportunity to help shape innovative models of team-based primary care
Candidate Qualifications MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license
Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Compensation
Years 1 2: Guaranteed annual compensation of $250,000 , structured according to specialty:
Family Medicine: $222,500 base salary + $27,500 guaranteed incentive
Providers may earn additional compensation through the wRVU productivity model if production exceeds the guaranteed threshold.
Sign-on bonus offered
After Year 2: Compensation transitions to the applicable base salary plus a wRVU-based productivity incentive model .
