A healthcare organization Connecticut is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician at one of its facilities in Hartford County.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Hours: 24 hours per week; ideally 10 hours on Monday and Friday, and 4 hours on Wednesday afternoon
Setting: Outpatient primary care
Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient primary care for adult patients
Deliver comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for common primary care needs
Work collaboratively with medical assistants and other clinical support staff
Maintain an efficient patient flow while delivering high-quality care
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Experience providing outpatient primary care to adult patients
Ability to work the scheduled weekday hours in the outpatient setting
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a community-based medical group
Comfort managing a steady patient volume in an ambulatory environment
Experience collaborating with on-site clinical support staff
