Job description
Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Countryside location in Tampa, Florida .
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who enjoys providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages , from pediatric through geriatric populations. Our physicians work within a collaborative, value-based care environment supported by an integrated healthcare team focused on quality, prevention, care coordination, and improved patient outcomes.
Opportunity Highlights 100% outpatient primary care practice
Care for patients across the lifespan pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Monday Friday schedule, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
No weekends
No call responsibilities

Physician Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide preventive care, annual physicals, wellness visits, and health screenings
Manage chronic diseases and coordinate ongoing patient care
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
Educate patients and families on preventive health, chronic disease management, and wellness
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
Collaborate with the care team to support quality initiatives and improve patient outcomes
Participate in a value-based care model focused on proactive, coordinated, patient-centered care
Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
Outpatient primary care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient engagement skills
Commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered primary care
Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated care team
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
