Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Family Medicine in Petoskey, MI Join a caring community as a Board-Certified Physician in Family Medicine at a well-respected healthcare facility located in the picturesque town of Petoskey, Michigan. This practice supports primary care in a collaborative environment, emphasizing comprehensive care for patients from newborns to geriatrics. Job Responsibilities: Provide primary care services to a diverse patient population including adults and children.
Conduct outpatient assessments and treatment for various medical conditions.
Perform gynecological exams and EKG interpretations as part of patient care.
Collaborate with support staff, including one Medical Assistant and one Patient Access Representative.
Utilize the Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and patient management.
Maintain patient schedules during regular shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Qualifications: Board certified in Family Medicine.
Active Michigan medical license at the time of appointment.
Significant experience in Family Medicine practice.
Local candidates from Michigan preferred.
Open to candidates from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Self-Query NPDB report required at the time of application.
License and Certification Requirements: Must possess a valid Michigan medical license.
Board certification in Family Medicine mandatory.
