Primary Care Physician VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic Pottsville, PA

Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm (Flexible hours, hours/week)

Employment Type: Permanent, outpatient clinic
Licenses/Certs: PA Medical License, Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, BLS certification, DEA required
Experience: 30+ years preferred; outpatient primary care experience in VA or community clinic setting
Pay & Benefits:
Pay Range: $135 $150/hour (Approx. $280,800 $312,000 annually at full-time)
Pay package discussed upon application

What You ll Do:
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to enrolled veterans, including diagnosis, treatment, and health education
Manage patient care plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model
Conduct routine health assessments, including basic women s health exams (training available)
Ensure same-day access through face-to-face, telehealth, and phone visits
Review test results, update care plans, and communicate effectively with patients and team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain documentation accuracy
Act as a liaison between the clinic and the VA, adhering to federal and VA policies
What You Need:
Medical degree (MD or DO)
Active Pennsylvania medical license
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Prescriptive authority
Willingness to train in Women s Health exams
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Passing VA background check and compliance with all safety standards
