Primary Care Physician Job Details Job Title: Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician Outpatient Clinic
Location: Rio Grande, NJ
Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract)
Practice Setting: Family Medicine / Primary Care Outpatient Clinic
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
Shift Duration: 8-hour days
Hours per Week: 40
Patient Volume: Average 20 adult patients per day
Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for ongoing or locum-to-perm
EMR: Cerner
Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,100 - $8,410
Primary Care Physician Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Primary Care Physician)
Active New Jersey Medical License or ability to obtain before start date
BLS Certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient care (Family Practice)
Proficiency in EKG interpretation
Experience performing disability exams (occupational medicine) preferred
Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting preferred
Primary Care Physician Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive adult outpatient care in a primary care clinic
Interpret EKGs and perform disability exams as needed
Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with no call, inpatient, or ED backup required
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
