Family Services Specialist III
Annual Salary: H14C $44,272.80 + Full State Employee Benefits
This is a full-time position in an office setting and will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree
OR a bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor's degree
OR three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist
Job Responsibilities
Incumbents perform at the specialist level, where employees are designated as the lead workers or backup supervisors to lower-level employees, or are responsible for carrying a complex and difficult caseload or conducting case reads.
Responsibilities include assigning caseloads, providing training in caseload principles and practices, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as agency policy and procedures.
Some incumbents may be embedded with community partners in order to remove barriers to access.
Incumbents assigned to this level may coordinate an interdisciplinary treatment team; may be assigned multiple county or district wide responsibility for the provision of social services and may act as a project director.
