Job Description
The Family Support Worker provides supportive respite care to children and youth with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and other developmental needs.
Workers provide supervision, assistance with daily activities, recreational and community-based activities, and companionship while promoting each individual's safety, independence, and well-being. Services are provided primarily after school and on weekends in the client’s home and community.
No prior certifications are required. All Family Connections will provide the necessary training.
Candidates must have reliable personal transportation and be willing and able to travel to clients’ homes to provide services.
Tipical schedule is 3-5 hours after school and full days over the weekend.
