**Stafford Consulting Company, Inc. has an immediate need for 1099 / Part-time Federal Construction Contracting Instructors**
Job Title:
Federal Construction Contracting Instructor (1099 / Part-time)
Job Location:
* Must be willing to travel and teach on location and virtually. *
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time, 1099 Contractor
Hours vary based on course schedule and availability
Travel Required:
Yes, travel is required to provide instruction on location.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $70 - $90

Basic Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years in Federal Government Contracting, with substantial experience as a Contracting Officer, COR, or Project/Program Manager in the construction or architecture & engineering field.
At least 2 years of experience in adult education, instruction, or presentation, either virtually or in-person, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience teaching or instructing WarU (Previously DAU) or federal government Construction Contracting Courses, such as: CON 2420v Architect-Engineering Indirect Rates
CON 2430v Architect-Engineer
CON 2440v Construction Contracting
CON 2450v Construction Modification Proposal Analysis
Construction Claims, Construction Federal Contracting Basics and Refreshers
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or higher is preferred or equivalent experience level.
Professional Certifications:
DAWIA or FAC-C Level 3 or Professional FAC-C Contracting Certification is required.
Preferred Qualification:
A credential in construction contracting from DAU is advantageous but not required.
Desired Attributes:
Flexible, adaptable, and highly knowledgeable in federal construction contracting processes with strong instructional and technology skills.
