Job description
Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a type of financial aid awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and who meet eligibility criteria. FWS provides part-time opportunities at the campus that accommodate the student's academic schedule.
FWS students receive various assignments working in the campus departments to support staff and fellow students. A campus representative assigns tasks to the FWS students and serves as a point of contact for the student.
FWS students are limited to working no more than 20 hours/week.
Pay Rate: $18.29
Requirements
Has a FAFSA and FWS Award on file
Registered with no less than the minimum required credits
Making Satisfactory Academic Progress
Must work at an FWS approved on-campus or off-campus worksite
Good verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Willingness to learn and follow-through on assignments
Responsibilities Follow up on tasks within the assigned area
Communicate progress and availability with the appropriate campus representative
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of any data or information of other students or staff if exposed to that
