Feed Mill Operations (2nd Shift)Waupun Mill - Waupun, WI 53963OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift SwingDescriptionPosition Summary:Responsible for performing routine tasks related to the feed production including quality control, ingredient and feed processing, manufacturing and load out, ingredient receiving and storage, equipment maintenance and housekeeping. A qualified individual must possess a strong work ethic, be customer-focused, hardworking and have the desire to work as a team member. This is a second shift position 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday.Duties & Responsibilities:Operate all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.Perform necessary sequencing, recording and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift.Maintain accurate production and FDA records, entering data into an Excel spreadsheet.Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that ensures accuracy and high quality.Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning, and control for both ingredients and finished products.Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.Observe and enforce all company policies and procedures.Effectively communicate with managers, co-workers and customers.Maintain a professional image and provide superior customer service.Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Previous feed mill experience preferred.Agriculture/farm background preferred.Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, & climb frequently.Ability to work in dusty conditions and all weather conditions with the required PPE to do so.This is a second shift position 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday.
