Festival Maintenance WorkerThe City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Festival Maintenance Worker. This part-time opportunity is a hands-on position with general maintenance and electrical experience is preferred. This position aides with the maintenance and operation of O'Fallon's Holiday Light Display, Celebration of Lights. Our Festival Maintenance Aides enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $18.40-$19.00 hourly.As part of our Recreation Division, this position plays an important role in one of the City's largest events of the Tourism and Festivals Department.As a Festival Maintenance Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include:Assisting in the preparation and set up/tear down of festival and event groundsInstalling, maintaining and/or repairing holiday lightsConstructing scenery for the holiday light displayUsing basic hand toolsAssuring light displays are working properly, taking corrective action when necessaryProviding information and top notice customer service to patronsWe're looking for someone who is reliable and willing to contribute support to our festivals and special events team. This person should be comfortable working with electricity and hand/power tools. This position works outdoors on rough, uneven terrain in all weather conditions. Light duty includes lifting during general festival set up or breakdown. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.Could this be the opportunity for you?
