We're working with an established company in the moving and relocation sector that is looking to hire an FF&E Project Manager in New York, NY. The role will involve coordinating furniture, fixtures and equipment projects from initial planning through to delivery and installation, working closely with clients, vendors and operational teams.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing FF&E projects from initial planning through to final installation.
Coordinating furniture deliveries, storage, transportation and installation schedules.
Liaising with clients, furniture vendors, designers and internal operations teams.
Planning labour, equipment and resources required for each project.
Monitoring project budgets, costs and timelines.
Resolving delivery, access and installation issues as they arise.
Maintaining project documentation and providing regular updates to clients.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with:
Previous project management experience within FF&E, commercial moving, commercial office fitouts or furniture logistics.
Experience coordinating furniture deliveries and installations across multiple projects.
A good understanding of transportation, warehousing and installation processes.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Experience managing project budgets and working with clients, vendors and operational teams.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management systems.
