Fiber Instrument Sales/Giotto EnterprisesGiotto Enterprises consists of seven companies, all here in the greater Utica/Rome area, and is seeking dependable and reliable individuals in fiber optic manufacturing and assembly.Duties and Responsibilities:Follow defined procedures to manufacture, assemble and test fiber optic cable.Operate precision automated and manual equipment.Maintain high quality standards and complete quality records.Maintain a safe, clean work area.Qualifications:Dependable and strong work ethic.Ability to follow directions and attention to detail.Verbal and written understanding of English.High School diploma or equivalent.Ability to work in a team environment to meet daily production goals.Other Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and lift for duration of shift.Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs.Manual dexterity.Job Type: Full-time, 7:00am -3:30pmSalary: $14.20 - $15.00 hourly rate IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skills.Benefits: • 401 (K) • 401 (K) Matching • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Paid Time offAbility to commute/relocate: • Oriskany, NY 13424: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Education: • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
