Job description
Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms manual measurements and inspects/records results. Alerts team on pipe defects.Mixes epoxy following proceduresMaintains epoxy resin level in baths during production runsAssembles fiberglass packs in preparation for loading winder machinesSet up line, load/unload fiberglass packs and resin bathsPrepare winders at the beginning of each run by stringing fiberglass towsFixes broken yarns and monitors pipe qualityRemoved oven film and shrink tape from the pipe at the end of the ovenPrepares ovens at the beginning of each runCoordinate the setup of new jobs and ensure that a run checklist is completed at the start of each production runEnsure completion of all paperwork at the run's completionEnsure tools and equipment are properly maintained and storedCommunicates mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance departmentMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionCompletes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervisionUtilize safe work habitsWear appropriate PPEComply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and proceduresComply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and proceduresComply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and proceduresOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsManual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computersAbility to work overtime and shift work as requiredStanding up to 12 hours dailyWalking up to 12 hours dailyBending/Stooping up to 12 hours dailyRepetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours dailyLifting weights to 50 lbs.
