Field Animal Control Officer

Job description

The City of Lakewood is hiring Animal Control Officers I and II to enforce city animal control ordinances and protect public safety. Officers will apprehend, investigate, and document incidents, working under the Animal Control Supervisor within the Lakewood Police Department.

Candidates must be able to write detailed reports, interact professionally with the public, and maintain PPE and equipment. This full-time role includes a structured career path and regular on-site duties.
