Our client, a leading organization in the printing and technology support industry, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Print Support Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the support department, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of printing systems and delivering exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused attitude, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Job Title: Field Print Support Technician
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $29/hr
Must Have: Printer technician/install/ troubleshooting/Repair/Replace experience
What's the Job?
Monitor printing systems and hardware to detect performance issues and resolve technical problems efficiently. Conduct routine installations, configurations, and maintenance of printing devices and related equipment. Assist end users with device functionality, troubleshooting, and resolving common technical inquiries. Manage consumable inventory, including replacing toner, paper, and other supplies to ensure optimal operation. Coordinate with vendors and support teams to address complex issues and escalate incidents as needed. What's Needed?
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience in a technical support environment. 2-5 years of related experience in maintenance, quality, or technical support roles. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow established protocols. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively. What's in it for me?
