Field Safety CoordinatorRequired Skills & Experience- 5+ years of safety experience supporting industrial or construction projects.Experience within oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, refinery, heavy industrial construction, or data center environments.Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.Experience conducting field safety observations, audits, and inspections.Ability to work independently and spend the majority of time in the field.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Nice to Have Skills & Experience- CHST, OHST, or other BCSP safety certification.NCCER certification, particularly related to crane and rigging activities.Forklift certification.Experience supporting large-scale construction or energy infrastructure projects.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale power generation and data center construction project in Abilene, Texas. This individual will serve as a visible safety presence in the field, working closely with contractors and project teams to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with site safety requirements. This is a hands-on role that will spend the majority of time in the field conducting safety observations, participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings, verifying contractor compliance, and addressing potential hazards before incidents occur. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting construction activities within industrial, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, refinery, or data center environments. Key Responsibilities include:Conduct daily field safety observations and site walkthroughs.Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements, site procedures, and OSHA regulations.Participate in JSA meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety discussions.Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and provide coaching when necessary.Build strong working relationships with contractors, supervisors, and project leadership.Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-up.Perform routine safety inspections and document findings.Support high-risk work activities including crane and rigging operations, equipment operation, and material handling.Promote a positive safety culture through active field engagement and communication.Maintain accurate safety records and reporting documentation.
