Field Service Associate in Houston, TXThis role will serve as a presence in the construction administration process, ensuring that each project is built to design plans and specifications and aligns with the company's vision and missionRequired:Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Science or related fieldPrevious experience in an MEP construction or consulting environment, for schools is preferred * Minimum 1-2 years' experiencePrevious experience in field project management in an MEP consulting environmentAbility to read construction documents, including MEP drawings and specificationsKnowledge of building codesKnowledge in the construction of power distribution, power and lighting, data networks, telephone and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control systems, and other standard electrical systemsKnowledge in the construction of HVAC systems, temperature controls, and other standard mechanical systemsKnowledge in the construction of domestic water systems, hot water systems, storm water systems, sanitary waste and vent systems, acid waste systems, fire sprinkler systems, compressed air systemsProven leadership skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesAbility to work well on a teamExceptional written and verbal skillsKnowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite (ability to read)Knowledge of building codesJob details:Serve as company's presence in the construction administration process, including:Conduct field inspections and file reports assigned by Director of Field ServicesWork closely with Director of Field Services, Principals and Team Leads to ensure that each project meets company standards according to specifications and drawingsEnsure that all field reports are completed in a proper, timely mannerServe as liaison to company's clients and contractors during the construction administration processCreate and maintain a master inspection schedule working closely with architects and contractorsReview specifications, shop drawings, addendums and other construction documentsParticipate in career development training as assigned by supervisor or Human Resources ManagerOther duties as assigned
